Architecture & Design

H House reflects a modern mountain architectural language inspired by high-performance homes and minimalist design principles. The composition is defined by clean volumes, a pitched roof, and a restrained material palette that emphasizes both durability and visual clarity.

A double-height open living area serves as the centerpiece of the home, bringing in natural light and creating a sense of spaciousness beyond its footprint. The design is further enhanced by a covered outdoor alcove connected to the master suite and a generous deck with a fire pit, reinforcing the lifestyle of outdoor living in a natural setting.

Materials

The material palette of H House is both modern and resilient, designed to perform in a mountain environment while maintaining a refined aesthetic. The exterior is wrapped in dark standing-seam metal, used across both the roof and façade to create a unified architectural expression.

This is complemented by large aluminum-framed glass panels and thermally treated light wood elements, which soften the structure and add warmth to interior-facing surfaces and soffits. The outdoor deck continues this material language with natural wood finishes, creating a seamless transition between interior and exterior spaces.
